The NetScan 3000 brings flexibility and productivity of document scanners to a whole new level in any environment including home, SOHO, school or business setting.

The Visioneer NetScan 3000 is a scanner server designed to connect a certified Visioneer or Xerox DocuMate scanner directly to a network allowing it to be a shared resource. It is a 10/100/1000 Base Ethernet port that can be connected to a wireless router for wireless USB device networking with two Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports supporting up to one amp of USB bus power combined. Up to 15 scanners can be integrated with the Gigabit network and can be used as if they were attached locally.

When combined with a scanner utilizing Visioneer OneTouch technology, the NetScan 3000 creates an elegant solution that allows users to save time and resources by only having to make one trip to the scanner. Users simply open the NetScan 3000 utility on their desktop, walk up to the scanner, place their documents in the ADF, and press the OneTouch scan button. Their document will immediately be scanned and automatically sent to the specified location in one easy step.

The NetScan 3000 includes a utility that allows users to visually manage all of their networked scanners in one window and displays the availability of connected scanners on the network in real time.
