This USB 3.1 Gen 2 single-drive enclosure gives you an ultra-fast, portable external storage solution for 2.5” hard drives or solid-state drives up to 15 mm in height. The enclosure provides quick access to your data wherever you go and it lets you retain your data after an upgrade to a new SSD or HDD in your computer.

Unlike most drive enclosures, which only support SATA SSDs and HDDs up to 9.5 mm in height, this enclosure is compatible with virtually all 2.5″ SATA drives up to 15 mm in height. Plus, it comes with a USB Type-C to Micro-B cable, for connecting to newer USB-C enabled laptops, tablets, and phones. A USB Type-A to Micro-B cable is also included to ensure backward compatibility with your existing USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices.
The enclosure is powered directly from the USB port on your device, which means no external power is required.
