Description
The KVM-LCDMOUNT is a rear mounting kit designed for APC’s 2nd generation KVM switches, specifically for use with the AP5717 and AP5719 Rack LCD Consoles. This kit allows for the secure installation of a KVM switch behind these consoles, optimizing space within the rack. It occupies 1U of rack space and includes all necessary hardware for installation. The KVM-LCDMOUNT supports a scalable architecture, enabling the cascading of multiple KVM switches for a modular solution that can manage multiple servers with a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse setup. It is compatible with various platforms, including Windows, Sun, Unix, and Linux, and supports hot-pluggable operation, allowing servers to be added or removed without powering off the switch.
